What are we thankful for?

I’m thankful that I have an amazing, loving family who put up with me, with all my foibles and fumbles. As the years roll on, I’m reminded again and again what a gift each of them is.
I’m thankful for my work, for colleagues of character and dedication, who continually challenge me to up my game. Whether it’s re-examining my prior assumptions or noting the extra effort someone took to get things just right. In a personal business like ours, there are no minor players.
I’m thankful for our clients, who trust and encourage us. Trust takes decades to establish but can be squandered in minutes – the “Seneca Cliff.” Thank you to everyone who has put their confidence in us. We so appreciate it!
I’m thankful for the many blessings that come from living in a free country with free markets where we can make free choices to live and serve and worship as we choose. And I’m thankful for all the men and women, past and present, whose sacrifices make this possible.
And I’m thankful for this season, for the turkey, football, skiing, and other celebrations that come with this season. We are so very, very fortunate!
Enjoy the holidays, everyone. And be sure to thank someone today!
